Maris, a foreign secretary, emphasizes the need to advertise equal opportunities for all.
According to Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, Thailand has endorsed the transformation of the UN Security Council, supported the Global Digital Compact, and put a premium on the importance of youth in shaping the world’s coming.
At the UN Summit of the Future in New York on Monday, Mr. Maris made the remarks.
He may also offer Thailand’s address to the UN General Assembly, on behalf of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, after this year.
In a display titled” Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” Mr. Maris claimed conservation cannot be realized in the midst of conflict, prejudice, and division.
Thailand is so totally committed to the transformation of the UN, including the UN Security Council, which will enable it to truly reflect all nations ‘ passions and improve the effectiveness of the government in promoting global peace and security, he said.
” We also need to address the problems of international crimes, including crime, and illicit drugs. We will collaborate with all partners to strengthen the UN’s capacity as a proponent of harmony and conservation that takes into account the interests of developing nations.
Mr Maris also pointed out that to encourage a prospect in which all can live, equitable access to resources, superior knowledge, care and employment opportunities may be ensured for everyone. He added that this includes bridging the gender gap and the modern break to ensure that all people benefit from systems.
Thailand supports the Global Digital Compact, he said, to close the science, engineering, and technology gaps between and within the nations.
He added that Thailand has also been putting a premium on the value of human rights because they provide the foundation for a successful future for all. Thailand has been promoting its 2025-27 candidature to the UN Human Rights Council. In the coming weeks of this year, a decision will be made.
” We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the basics they need to prosper,” he continued.
