The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the authorities that it will return a Thai worker‘s body from Israel on Tuesday.
According to government official Nikorndej Balankura, Israeli officials have completed the examination on the bones of Nisan Meeram, 42, from Buri Ram.
They have issued a death license, and the Thai consulate in Tel Aviv has informed Nisan’s home.
On October 11, Nisan was killed by left weapons while working in an apple garden in Kibbutz Yir’on, northern Israel.
The Ministry of Labour is still contacting Israeli officials to find out why Thai workers were permitted to work in a military-adjacent military area close to the Lebanoni border, where the issue has gotten worse in recent months.
On El Al trip LY081 scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 21, and arriving in Bangkok at 2 p.m., the union’s body may be recovered.
” The Royal Thai Embassy will work closely with Israel on the payment for Nisan’s home,” added Mr. Nikorndej.
