Thai worker injured in rocket attack discharged from Israeli hospital

The injured worker claims that he does not require relocation or additional support.

A Thai contractor who was hit by a Hezbollah rocket in northeastern Israel on Monday has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for a minor injuries, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Kwanchai Chongklang was hospitalized on Tuesday with shrapnel wounds to his neck, with a cube of the damage being described as minor after a cube struck a bone, according to Nikorndej Balankura, spokesman for the ministry.

The employee received care at Ziv Medical Center in Safed, a city in northern Israel, before being released.

The spokesman claimed that Mr. Kwanchai was working at the Ayelet HaShahar agricultural estate when the missile attack, which involved about 30 missiles, took place at around 1 p.m. ( Israel time ).

According to Mr. Nikorndej, the employer, who was quoted by the Thai consulate in Tel Aviv, continued to be in good spirits and did not desire relocation or further assistance.

A mourning ceremony was held for another Thai employer, Nisant Meeram, at Ben Gurion aircraft in Tel Aviv on Monday. On October 11, an ammunition explosion at the Yiron agricultural land in northeastern Israel claimed his life in an apple garden.

His brain was transported via El Al Israel Airlines ‘ trip LY081, which left Tel Aviv on Monday at 10.45 pm and was scheduled to arrive in Thailand on Tuesday at 2 pm.

In the fight between Israel and its neighbors, he was the 42nd Thai prey.
