Late on Monday evening, authorities broke out a transvestite fight between Thai and Filipino residents on Soi Sukhumvit 11.
After a review that about 20 Filipino transsexuals had attacked two Thai transsexuals, officers were called to the scene.
The assault was captured and posted online. Later in Thailand, transsexuals were using social media to assemble at the scene to protest the invasion.
The fight’s participants were taken by officers to Lumpini Station for questioning and their followers were then followed there by authorities.
On Soi Sukhumvit 11, there were no more conflicts, thanks to a powerful police presence.
