They collectively hold 312 votes in the 500-person House of Representatives. However, Mr. Pita needs at least 376 vote in either the House of Representatives or the Senate, or more than half of the 750-seat National Assembly, to be elected prime minister.
Mr. Pita claims that the deal on the votes was made in order to bring the eight coalition parties together to form the new government, with him serving as prime minister.
According to him,” The Move Forward Party and the Pheu Thai Party agreed to jointly help significant rules for the citizens, including an amnesty for instances of political emotions as well as amendments to regulations related to the transformation of the war.”

Move Forward and Pheu Thai have been at odds over the House Speaker place in recent months as both parties have focused on occupying the best legislative branch position.
People of the Pheu Thai Party have argued that the location does not fall under the purview of Move Forward, despite the fact that it won a majority of seats in the Lower House, while the Movement Forward Party has claimed that in order to speed up congressional processes, it needs the Speakership of Congress.

Pheu Thai assistant party chief Phumtham Wechayachai proposed Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha for the position of House Speaker because he thought the veteran politician would be a good fit for everyone.

In past administrations, Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha oversaw a number of ministers. Between 1996 and 2000, he also served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Parliament’s chair.
