SINGAPORE: The new Tengah vehicle exchange will start on Jul 21, the latest in a slew of features available to residents.  ,
Following Tengah’s first retailer and food judge, the exchange is scheduled for later. The Giant retailer and Koufu meals court, both of which opened on June 28, offer inhabitants both financial and dining options.
Located along Tengah Boulevard, it “has been designed with inclusivity in mind, catering to families with young children, seniors, as well as those with mobility challenges”, the Land Transport Authority ( LTA ) said on Friday ( Jul 5 ).
Some of the commuter-friendly amenities at the junction include barrier-free entrances, a devoted concern backlog zone, and seats at all boarding berths.
Other accommodations include the wheelchair-accessible restrooms, changing facilities, and baby changing facilities, all of which have touchscreen sensors and automatic sliding doors.
Additionally, commuters will be able to use a treatment room that is” catered for those who might need a peaceful and calm space,” according to LTA.
The exchange may include staff amenities such as a canteen, dedicated toilets, cleaner’s room and a lounge, while also built- in energy saving features like auto- sensor taps and motion sensor lights.
