Temple servant charged with murder, says averted robbery

SONGKHLA: A temple servant surrendered in order to police on Sunday and confessed he had killed a man this individual overheard telling individuals by phone that everyone was asleep plus it was safe to come and rob the temple

Pinyo Suwanno, 48, the layman who life at Wat Sisawangwong, also known as Wat Koh Sua, turned themself in at Hat Yai police station about 5pm upon Sunday.

He told law enforcement that late on Saturday night he overheard 47-year-old Thammarit Ngamchom, who was seated in the temple, speaking with friends on the mobile phone. He allegedly informed them it was secure to come and rob the temple because the abbot and other monks had retired to sleep.

Mister Pinyo said that he was filled with frustration, grabbed a wooden staff and strike Thammarat three times to the head with it, killing the man on the spot. He tied a loincloth around Thammarat’s neck of the guitar and dragged your body into the bushes in order to behind the dharma school inside the brow. He left if there.

Thammarat’s body has been found by monks about 7am on Sunday.

Mr Pinyo stated he acted by itself upon hearing Thammarat planning the thievery, because he knew that  400, 000-500, 500 baht in cash was kept in the temple.

He was taken back to the forehead for a re-enactment, billed with murder plus detained at Head wear Yai police train station for further legal process.
