The defense attorneys claimed the teen has been receiving care by taking anti-depressants regularly since September 2021, with a decrease in the drug after November 2022.
He even went through a pastor’s conversion to Christianity while remanding, receiving counseling, and going through spiritual scholarship.
His depression has been in recovery since September 2022, as was confirmed in June 2023, and he has n’t relapsed since.
Mr. Sudheesan said his client understood that he had caused Ethan’s home catastrophic damage and that he had felt incredibly sorry for his actions.
He has expressed his grief in a text to Ethan’s home.
