Teacher transferred for allegedly selling higher grade

A physical education teacher in the Muang area of this northern province was moved to an inert position while an investigation was looking into an argument that he allegedly accepted a bribe from a student in exchange for a higher grade.

As a probe committee looked into the case, Chatchawal Wongjon, the deputy mayor of the municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima, announced on Monday that the teacher had been moved to the provincial office’s educational division.

Mr Chatchawal, who supervises colleges under the authority of the city, is chairing the research screen. The investigation may be done plainly, he said.

Prior to this, it was claimed that the physical training instructor at the well-known college demanded from him that he paid him 200 ringgit to pass an exam on his subject.
