It is currently in opposition to a hostile coalition made up of the upstart Taiwan People’s Party ( TPP ) and the historic KMT, which is regarded as friendlier to Beijing and that claims Taiwan as its territory.

The program resumed on Tuesday with DPP users unveiling a massive banner with the phrase” No to energy growth” after a fight broke out in parliament on Friday over the subject.
” I feel like I am in China’s National People’s Congress… the steps proposed by the KMT are really selling out the state”, said DPP’s Ker Chien- dynasty.
Opposition politicians, however, waved” Parliament needs reform” signs.
