Off Taiwan’s southeast coast, residence to a significant Chinese air base, and in the south of Taiwan, at the top of the South China Sea, where the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands are located, were other areas of interest.
There were also 14 Taiwanese military ships and 12 “official ships”- which refer to the beach guard and another military opposite vessels- spotted, the ministry said.
Premier Cho Jung-tai stated to reporters in Taipei that the drills were more than just a Taiwanese problem.
” Any training without due warning will greatly deteriorate peace and stability in the whole place,” he said.
” China’s training not only affect Taiwan’s village, but also significantly affect the entire international maritime rights and air and sea room, so attracted the attention of another countries”.
Taiwan’s authorities rejects Beijing’s geographical claims, and says just the planet’s people can choose their future.
