Swimmer Toh Wei Soong wins Singapore’s first medal at Asian Para Games in Hangzhou

Singapore: Singapore swimmer Toh Wei Soong won a silver medal at the Asian Para Games on Tuesday( Oct 24 ), earning the nation’s first victory in Hangzhou, China. & nbsp,

With a day of 5:12.15, Toh placed second in the men’s 400-meter freestyle S7 final.

The brass was won by China’s Huang Xianquan, while the metal was taken by the Philippines’ Ernie Gawilan.

Toh has won four Asiad medals so far. He took home two & nbsp, gold medals, and a bronze in the 2018 Jakarta edition.

Toh won five medals — three gold and two silver — at the ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia in 2023, breaking two new Games records in the 50 – and 100-meter freestyle events.
