Charn will no longer be able to perform his duties in a court situation.
Charn Phuangphet, who recently won the provincial administrative organization ( PAO ) chairman election in Pathum Thani, will be fired from office as soon as possible, according to a senior official in the Interior Ministry.
Pathum Thani municipal officials have informed the Department of Local Administration, which supervises local administrative bodies global, of the step to be taken, said the source.
In spite of widespread skepticism from his previous efficiency as the PAO president more than ten years ago, Mr. Charn, a Pheu Thai Party member, won the election for PAO chairman on June 30.
The National Anti-Corruption Commission ( NAC ) concluded in 2012 that Mr. Charn had made a mistaken decision regarding the PAO’s use of aid during the 2011 floods.
The NACC next forwarded the situation to the Region 1 Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct, which suspended Mr. Charn from his job after that time.
In light of concerns about whether he should be subject to a suspension, a new court order, or the Department of Local Administration’s authority to punish him, the second court reading in this case is scheduled for later this month.
The provincial government’s regional operational systems are under the control of the government of Pathum Thani, who will adhere to the CoS’s recommendations. He informed the Interior Ministry in this situation that he was prepared to impose a disqualification purchase, according to the source, who made reference to the Council of State.
” The matter does n’t require the interior minister’s intervention”.
The CoS, the government’s legal shoulder, responded to the Interior Ministry’s investigation into this case by stating that the law mandates that a local social company owner been suspended as a preventative measure if found guilty of a civil or criminal offence.
The Department of Local Administration, in accordance with Pakorn Nilprapunt, secretary-general of the CoS, confirmed this week that a new jury attempt to dismiss Mr. Charn from work was not necessary.
In addition, Pathum Thani Pongsatorn Kanchanajittra’s lieutenant governor, acting government, published a memo outlining the procedures to be followed when local political office holders are publicly accused of wrongdoing by the NACC in late April.
The accused may halt carrying out their duties and promptly report the situation to the government or district chief. A person who disobeys this may encounter investigation and possibly destitution.
