Summer storms until Wednesday

The Meteorological Department issued a warning yesterday that summer storms are anticipated in lower Thailand from everyday until Wednesday.

Over the course of those three days, a moderately high pressure product from China will protect the South China Sea and the Northeast of Thailand. According to the department, the lower country will be covered in warm to very hot weather with southeasterly winds prevailing there.

In light of these circumstances, the Northeast and the East are expected to experience sum-mer winds and thunderstorms, windy winds, isolated thunder, and lightning attacks. Later, some areas may become impacted.

In the meantime, the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand did be traversed by east and southeast winds. In the South, more snowfall is anticipated, so people should be aware of the dangerous weather. In the Gulf, tides that are about one meter deep are anticipated, and during thunderstorms, they can reach heights of more than two meters. All boats may move cautiously, the ministry advised.
