SINGAPORE: A person signed up for Sugarbook, a website where he could engage in” sugar children” or sexual relations in exchange for financial aid, and there met the girl who was 15 years old.
He regularly had sex with her and offered to pay her S 1, 800 ( US$ 1, 350 ) per month in exchange for her company, but he secretly recorded the private moments without her consent.
The officers discovered additional private videos he recorded of two other victims, ages 21 and 25, after his arrest on suspicion of engaging in business intercourse with a minor.
Singaporean Benjamin Huang Junlong, 39, was given a two-year and one-month prison term on Friday, January 5.
He admitted guilt to two counts of pornography and sexual assault on a minimal, with an additional eight charges being taken into account.
According to the jury, Huang joined Sugarbook in the middle of 2018 with the intention of engaging in sexual activity in exchange for financial aid.
He discovered a page of the first victim, identified as A1 in court records, on the website in December 2020.
A1 indicated that she was 19 on her account because the site required users to be older than 18.
Huang started chatting with A1 on the website before switching to Telegram and finally running into her.
In December 2020 and January 2021, they met five times and engaged in sexual activity and associated behaviors. Huang did n’t confirm A1’s age.
A1 confided in Huang about her household issues and stated that she was interested in renting an apartment. She claimed that she joined Sugarbook because she was struggling economically and needed to work part-time at a restaurant to pay her bills.
After they first met, A1 started to disregard Huang’s emails. She responded that she did not want to be in a marriage with him after he pressed the matter more.
She agreed when Huang asked if she would be willing to meet in exchange for his cash.
Huang offered to pay A1 S$ 1,800 per month for her company and to help with her apartment’s rent when they first met for sex. A1 concurred and second took S$ 900 from Huang.
Before agreeing to Huang’s ask to join at his house on December 26, 2020, A1 went out drinking with her companions.
When she got there, she fell asleep on Huang’s base. Huang secretly recorded physical activity with A1 the following day by setting his phone on the bedside tables.
In January 2021, Huang captured the couple having sex again while paying A1 S$ 500 for the next day. After that, A1 stopped seeing Huang because she did n’t want to keep them together.
On fear of having sex with a slight for business, Huang was detained in March 2021. Incriminating video were discovered in his equipment after they were seized.
PARTICULAR Target
Studies turned up erotic videos of the second target, a 21-year-old A2 who had met Huang in 2019 on Sugarbook.
A2 was likewise having financial problems and was depressed.
Huang offered to be A2’s sugar papa in August 2019 and promised to pay her wealth if she gave him sex.
Huang informed A2 that he had a girl and that in order to avoid being discovered, they would need to use aliases on their phones.
Between August 2019 and January 2021, the couple had at least ten sexual encounters, with Huang paying A2 more thanS$ 16,000.
Without A2’s permission, he took a full of eight pictures and 17 videos of romantic moments between them.
When A2 went to the bathroom after having sex, he would cover his phone with a backpack or other things and come out with it.
Huang even met a second victim on the dating site Uber in late 2019 or first 2020. The prey was 25-year-old A3.
At Huang’s house, they had eight sexual encounters. Huang recorded their sexual acts using a small mobile camera that was mounted on top of his wall-mounted broadcast across from the bed.
Eight video totaling about an hour each were made in this manner.
Huang saved the clips he had made of the three victims and chose a couple to move to another device so they could be viewed larger.
Huang was granted a 26 to 32 month prison sentence by Deputy Public Prosecutor Sruthi Boppana.
She claimed that Huang had at least five video of the small A1 and that his act of paying her “increases his culpability.”
When the romantic films were being filmed, Ms. Boppana claimed that Huang kept” a report that he watched again after the occasion resulted in the repeated conquest of the patients ‘ privacy.”
According to the prosecutor, the subjects were easily recognized because Huang labeled the videos with their names and because their eyes could be seen in the clips.
On February 13, the prosecutor gave Huang permission to start his prison sentence.
