SINGAPORE: While she was working as a student treatment teacher providing after-school treatment for kids, a woman showed nude pictures of her partner to other associates.

The 22-year-old Singaporean woman entered a guilty plea on Tuesday ( 20 August ) to two counts of distributing intimate photos or videos.

The accused was 21 when she was hired as a professor of student treatment, the court was informed.  ,
Some schools collaborate with student treatment centers that employ these instructors to deliver after-school care for students.
The target, also 21 at the time, was a partner of the accused. They were previously close companions but had split up.
The accused was friends with the victim’s ex-boyfriend, who had kept skinny images of the target without her consent.
The defendant’s ex-boyfriend sent the accused a camera recording of his Telegram conversation with the victim, which included some of the victim’s naked photographs, some time before December 2023.
The victim’s experience and exclusive parts were noticeable in the pictures seen in the recording.
When she showed the accused to three other coworkers the picture, they were chatting with them at their place of employment at some point in December 2023.
She knew this would embarrass the victim, who was recognised by the other coworkers.
That same month, a 23-year-old female companion of the accused fell out with the sufferer.
He was speaking with the accused and three different people in a group chat and asked if they had any material that might harm the victim’s status.
He wanted to retaliate against the target by posting for materials on Twitter.
In reaction, the accused sent the video with the victim’s nude photos to the party talk.
The female companion did not ultimately distribute it via TikTok.
In March, the victim’s husband filed a police statement on her behalf, alleging that the accused had distributed nude photos of the target.
The judge adjourned imprisonment and requested a report to determine whether the woman was fit for supervision.
For distributing personal photos or videos, criminals can remain jailed for up to five years, fined, caned, or given any mixture of these sanctions.
