One nation’s kindness has become renowned as a result of history tourist arrivals during China’s May Day holiday.
Apparently, tourism officials and residents of Xuanen, a county in northern Hubei province, apparently opened their homes to stranded travelers, prompting both online users to question the decision, which they described as “absurd and awkward.”  ,
On May 3, the tourism ministry of Xuanen shared video and addresses of workers and local people opening their houses to visitors who couldn’t afford to spend the busy holiday season.
Home tourism experienced a significant increase during the five-day national holiday, which ran from May 1 through May 5.
The Wudang Mountains, a page renowned for tai chi and regarded as a place of spiritual journey, are among Hubei’s healthy and historical landmarks, including the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River.  ,
According to authorities, Xuanen welcomed almost 702, 000 readers between May 1 and May 3, which is an 85.7 percent increase over the same time next year.  ,
According to a report from the Hubei Daily, about 30 stranded tourists reportedly resided in residents ‘ and officials ‘ homes.  ,
A woman traveler named Wang was one of them who traveled on a spontaneous road trip without making any reservations in advance from their residence in Yichang to Xuanen with her home for four days.  ,
The family of four ended up having no luck finding a room for the night because some hotels and nearby guesthouses were already booked. Wu claimed in a Hubei Daily that she finally called the tourism officials for assistance.  ,
Wang claimed that tourism authorities had spent” a long time” helping them find hotel rooms or other lodging in Xuanen in a videos posted on the state tourism agency’s Twitter account.
The family received a free nightly bed at Wang Jufang’s house, not in a hotel, instead.  ,
Understandably, regional tourism officials gave the family a lot of praise for the “heartwarming company.”
Another official from the tourism ministry, Guo Yanrui, was also praised for providing four Chinese state travellers with extra rooms in his house.  ,
Wang, chairman of the tourism ministry, reported that state occupants also offered their houses as temporary lodging for tourists.  ,
During the May Day holiday time, more than 30 travelers were residing in nearby homes, and 100 crisis mattresses, equipped with daily essentials, were located in the county’s regional gymnasium, Wang said.  ,
Because she was employed at the time, Wang did not meet the home during their visit.
She even went the extra mile by staying overnight in her home so the home could have some privacy.  ,
” We also think that customers come first,” Wang said.  ,
” The kindness of the locals has shown tourists how warm Xuanen county is and how they have been treated like household while they have been here,” said one resident.  ,
