The Thai Meteorological Department ( TMD) predicts torrential rain to hit the South and the Thai Gulf until Saturday, but the temperature in most of Thailand is still low.
The TMD’s climate forecast for Thursday indicates that there will be a great stress or warm air mass covering the South China Sea and lower Thailand, which will keep the temperature there at a low.
The northern region will be cold, while the northeast, key, northeast and lower southern regions, including Bangkok and its opposite provinces, will experience amazing to cold weather, the department reported.
Mountain mountains and hills are anticipated to be very cool. People of these locations should be aware of fires brought on by dry weather. Also, travellers should remain vigilant when passing through cloudy areas.
The north rain that will affect the South and Gulf of Thailand is expected to increase between Wednesday and Saturday.
The South may experience more precipitation as a result, with some places anticipating large rain. Local residents may be prepared for discharge and flash floods, especially in foothills close to waterways and low-lying areas.
Tides in the Gulf of Thailand will increase, reaching levels of two to three meters and extending over three meters in rainy areas. The Andaman Sea may experience waves of one to two meters, the weather forecaster predicted, along with offshore waves that will reach two to three meters and extend over three meters in rain areas.
From today until Saturday, little boats in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand does not leave the water, according to the statement.
