” In today’s market, where customers prioritise eco- informed choices, pop- up hotels are quickly emerging as a lucrative market. Our endeavors capitalize on this craze and demonstrate a fusion of sustainability and success, according to Tiny Pod Pte Ltd founder and CEO Seah Liang Chiang.
The co-living train project for Tiny Pod, which opened in 2020 and expanded to industrial and open spaces at Gardens By The Bay and Haw Par Villa, is an expansion of their pop-up shipping container resort at LaunchPad@one-north.
“ Tiny Pod’s co-living coach is a normal growth for green hospitality solutions through dynamic reuse,” said Yap Eai- Sy, JTC’s Director for New Estates Business Development and Marketing Division.” Building on the success of its shipping container hotel testbed, Tiny Pod’s co-living train is a normal progression for green hospitality solutions.”

This is not the first public transport-themed hotel. In 2023, bookings for The Bus Collective, a resort hotel with that repurposed old buses into luxury suites, opened.
