YOU RENTED THAT YOUR Daughters, WHO WERE OLDER THAN YOU BY 14 AND SEVEN YEARS, WERE SUPPORTING YOU FINANCIALLY THROUGH THE Challenge “CAUSE YOU STOPPED Acting ENTIRELY.  ,
My mum was the one who straight up said:” It’s okay, just borrow]money ] from your sisters”. She also told them:” Support your nephew lah“. But even if she hadn’t, they would still have offered something because it’s a little difficult for me to ask for things like that.
Even as I was prepping for the contest, my eldest sister took me out to purchase clothing and she paid for all. I’m very grateful for the fact that all you saw me wearing on Star Search was purchased that morning.
FOR THE Some MONTHS YOU WERE IN STAR SEARCH, THEY GAVE YOU A MONTHLY ALLOWANCE?
I was advised by my mother to only offer me some money each month, but I should keep the money aside because I don’t actually make money.
Most of the time it’s only when I’m low on cash, my two sisters]who work in the marketing and project management field ] will move me money, usually in the thousands. Or when they suddenly remember, they had say:” Oh guilty I forgot to send you money” and I would be like:” It’s cool, it’s okay”!
Should COMING IN THIRD MAKE THEIR FINANCIAL SACRIFICES WORTH IT?
Certainly. That auto… I’m quite sure it doesn’t pertain to me again. Great investment on the piece. I mean, I can’t even afford to succeed. The Certificate of Entitlement ( COE ) will not be an option for me.  ,
HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THAT COE?
My daughters offered to fork out cash for the COE and told me I may keep the vehicle. But for me, I’m fine without a car. It’s not my goal right then. The COE is a considerable sum of money. I checked online and it’s about S$ 90, 000.
My older sister and her husband were discussing getting a new vehicle, but we informed them that they could use it for the time being. When I have the money, maybe we can come up with a solution.  ,
IF YOU START MAKE MONEY AGAIN, ARE YOU READY TO PAY YOUR SISTERS BACK?
We’re family, and they don’t know how far I owe them, so maybe not in income right away. That type of relationship exists between us. If the roles were reversed, I would even help them without giving them any pressure]to give back].  ,
This SISTERS SHOULD SEE YOU MANY TIME.
It came at a price. When I was a child, I was bullied. Okay, no bullied, but I was like a doll for them. And because my father was from Taiwan, I grew up in a home full of ladies. For a while, I stopped hanging out with females because of it.
YOU GUESSED THAT DURING THE STAR SEARCH Playoffs, BUT YOUR MOTHER MANAGED TO FLY OVER IN THE END. YOU DUNK THAT MOTHER WAS NOT WILL BE IN SINGAPORE.
She managed to make it, though I’m not entirely sure what she was working on. She stayed at home to see the playoffs because]such noisy places ] are not really her image. So my daughters, my father, my brother-in-law, and some of their companions came down to see it.  ,
That MOTHER WAS IN SINGAPORE TO FIND THE Playoffs, WHICH HAPPENED YOU SO MUCH?
Okay lahore, like the same. I don’t believe it affected me that many either. I’m over it, though, because I know some folks will become more anxious when their families watch them.
SINGAPORE GUARLETT BY WHICH YOU WERE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO TAIWAN. WHY WAS YOUR FAMILY MOVING SO MUCH?  ,
I initially made the move up to Taiwan because my father had left his position as a tennis coach. He was generally employed in Taiwan when I was studying in Singapore because there was a better job opportunity it. My mother decided it was preferable to relocate up to be with my prolonged family when he retired.  ,
Despite planning to stay in Taiwan for universities, I had to return for National Service after graduating from high school. I was accepted into National Pingtung University of Science and Technology’s crops program, but I took a two-year leave of absence to return for the troops.  ,
AFTER GRADUATING THEN, WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO COME BACK TO SINGAPORE?  ,
Before I graduated from college, I had already planned to work in celebrity and get a job in Singapore, but my kids insistently required that I finish my studies first.
Despite my own nationality and the country I was born in, I have a stronger link to Singapore because of the surroundings I grew up in and the friends I made.  ,
Then THAT YOU AND YOUR Aunts ARE ALL RESIDING IN SINGAPORE. ARE This Kids, WHO ARE BOTH IN THEIR MID SIXTIES AND RETIRED, Wanting TO RELOCATE BACK HERE TOO?  ,
They don’t really have that in thinking. People in my family have always been more self-assured, but they simply do what they want. My uncle prefers staying in Taiwan.  ,
This MOTHER WAS A FREELANCE SCRIPTWRITER FOR MEDIACORP, AND YOU ARE A SECRETARY OF THE UNITED NATIONS IN 2012, WHEN YOU WERE 13 AND YOU ACTED IN ONE OF HER DRAMAS IN 2012 WHEN YOU WERE 13? HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO GET A SCRIPT FOR YOU TO ACT IN AGAIN?
Yeah, I did and she’s opened to it! Acting in anything my mother wrote is one of my goals. I once did that when I was a child, but I didn’t know what operating was next, so I didn’t realize its significance. But then, I feel that it’s such an dignity to do something with family.
