Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, stated that he would not be present when Thaksin Shinawatra, the former prime minister, visited the Pheu Thai Party office on Tuesday.

Mr. Srettha stated at Government House that he would not leave work for the party practices on Tuesday evening, where Thaksin was scheduled to meet with MPs, supporters, and another group members.

The primary minister even stated that he would be visiting Rajamangala National Stadium after work to clap on the national football team, which will face South Korea in their second match of the world cup finals.

The two had dinner together on March 15 when Thaksin returned to Chiang Mai. The prime minister was one of the customers. After he had been treated or six months at the Police General Hospital, Mr. Srettha met him at Thaksin’s home last quarter.

The Thai Rak Thai Party, Pheu Thai’s lone major rival, was founded by Thaksin.
