PM praises soccer chief Nualphan, but points out that some other teams have used naturalized international players.
Despite the fact that the Thai national football team did not qualify for the 2026 Fifa World Cup, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin declared he was pleased with the player’s performance on Tuesday.

Although Ms. Nualphan was recently appointed to the position, she had done properly, according to Mr. Srettha, noting that now was the perfect time to evaluate what could be done.
” As a Thai, I’m pleased that no foreign people play for our national group.” This is the delight of all people in the country”, said Mr Srettha.
Spectators claimed that he was most likely making an allusion to the teams from Singapore and China, both of which have a number of international or naturalized players.  ,
The Thai coach’s reputation would be enhanced by the premier’s desire to discover their abilities be showcased abroad. He claimed that it would be beneficial to have a Thai national team coach.
Kiatisuk Senamuang was a well-known mind coach of the Thai national squad in the past. Under Mr Kiatisuk’s leadership, the men’s U- 23 squad won silver at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. He was also the head manager of the Thai team that won the 2014 AFF Championship.
” I want to suggest having a Thai coach”, the top said.
