South Korea ruling party leader says Yoon will resign

YOON “VERY SORRY”

Yoon’s first public appearance since he rescinded the military law attempt on Saturday was his televised address.

He said,” I leave it up to my party to take measures to stabilize the political situation in the future, including the issue of my term in office,” promising there would be no more attempts to impose martial law.

Han claimed after the speech that resigning was now obvious because the president was no longer able to fulfill his public duties.

Han stated on Friday that Yoon needed to be removed from electricity and was a threat to the nation, putting stress on Yoon to step down.

In the end, however, nearly all PPP people boycotted the vote. And a participant said he had voted against impeachment despite the fact that he claimed he did not think Yoon would be appropriate for the business.
