SEOUL: On Saturday ( Jan. 4), South Korean researchers asked the nation’s acting president to order the president’s security services to comply with an arrest warrant for impeached leader Yoon Suk Yeol.
The security services, along with defense forces, on Friday prevented lawyers from arresting Yoon Suk Yeol in a six-hour conflict inside Yoon’s element. Yoon’s arrest warrant was secured by the researchers because of his simple declaration of martial law next month.
The country’s finance minister, Choi Sang-mok, was once more requested by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officers to get the president’s security company to follow the law.
A representative for the fund department declined to comment.
Yoon’s fighting declaration on December 3 shocked South Korea, which resulted in the first arrest warrant for a relaxing leader.
