Saudi Arabia’s Labour Ministry plans to promote wellness and health tourism, while the Middle East nation’s labor ministry anticipates hiring more competent workers.

Majid al Abdullah al-Kassabi, the public health minister, and permanent secretary Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, the minister of commerce, were welcomed by Thai health officials to debate plans to improve their public health partnership.

According to Mr. Somsak, the debate will benefit both nations, adding that Saudi Arabia’s private sector and the Thai administration’s plan and Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin’s official trip to Saudi Arabia in October provided options for Thai companies to form health partnerships.

He claimed he made use of this opportunity to use it to promote Thailand as a global health hub and that the Thai government would permit Saudi citizens to visit Thailand with a maximum of four followers for health care.

Mr Somsak invited Saudis to obtain care and devote breaks in Thailand, touting the government’s health services ‘ relevancy, value, and international requirements.

He added that Thailand just sent 42 specialists to Saudi Arabia’s over 7, 000 Muslim pilgrims who wanted to perform the Hajj.

According to Mr. al-Kassabi, the Saudi government views Thailand as a significant alliance and is looking to strengthen its economic ties with it in the future.

He added that Thailand is studying its history in the field and is now focusing on improvements in the area of public health, which is crucial to human life.

He added that Saudi Arabia wants to permit Thai investors to make investments in the country’s public health field.

On Wednesday, the Saudi minister met with Labour Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakarn to explore ways to promote financial cooperation between the two nations.

Mr. Pipat expressed his hope for more qualified Thai staff in various sectors, particularly those in the tourism and healthcare sectors, while lauding Thai workers ‘ reputation on a global scale.
