A lone man who was spotted approaching a wild elephant in Khao Yai National Park while carrying a knife in his hand has been identified and did experience charges, according to the park’s area manager on Wednesday.
Atthapol Charoenchansa, director-general of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation ( DNP ), confirmed on Wednesday that the man in the video was a Thai soldier in the army first class who was about 30 years old.
He had a record of receiving mental health care.

A hapless person is seen walking straight towards a wild man elephant while wearing a black coat, his face covered, a weapon in his left side, and a piano slung across his back.
His right hand is extended high in an” Okay” movement, with the other fingers of the hands outstretched and his thumb and index finger group touching. The deluxe appears to be in his hands, but it backs away from him.
The poster wrote on the page that “you were lucky that you survived with the’OK ‘ sign, but you might not have the chance to raise your hand next time.”
The incident took place in the Nakhon Nayok state of Thung Khao Kheow in tambon Hin Tang in Muang city. Park producer Chaiya Huaihongthong stated earlier on Wednesday that the place is a part of Khao Yai National Park.
He claimed that the person had disobeyed official orders and had violated the National Park Acts ‘ requirements for tourists.
The guy was identified, according to Mr. Chaiya, and would be charged.
He stated that all visitors are cautioned against approaching wild animals because they could react by soon attacking them if they feel threatened.
According to Mr. Atthapol, the man was allegedly using a scooter to maneuver around the park area when he was captured on surveillance camera.
Searching was taking place. Park soldiers were stationed close to the location where he was thought to be hiding.  ,
