Smuggler cop crashes with cargo of contraband

TRAT- A officer driving a policeman delivery truck crashed into a pole, exposing its goods of illegal cigarettes, in Muang area on Sunday evening. &nbsp,

The incident happened in the rain on the Sukhumvit Highway in tambon Laem Klat, Muang area, about 6.30pm.

A ruined delivery vehicle belonging to Provincial Police Region 2 was discovered by police from Tha Luean dispatched to the field.

The pilot, Pol Sgt Maj Ekapote Niyom, 37, was likewise waiting there. He was taken to Trat Hospital for treatment because he had many caresses and was experiencing chest and back problems.
