A six-year-old son has now been discovered deep in a Vietnamese jungle after missing for five days.
On August 17, Dang Tien Lam, who lives in the northern Yen Bai state, wandered into the rocks and disappeared with his nine relatives.
Nearby farmers discovered him on Wednesday as they were clearing a ginger area close to the forest when they heard a toddler’s cries.
Lam, who was found sitting in cassava bushes about 10km ( 6.2mi ) from where he went missing, had become so weak he was unable to stand.
” I’m so tired, I ca n’t stand up, please carry me up”, Lam said, according to 52-year-old farmer Ly Van Nang, who were among those who found the boy.
Lam survived on leaf and wild fruits, as well as having streamwater, reports said.
After he was carried out of the jungle, visitors tend to him and give him bread. They depict him in a dark T-shirt and shorts that were totally soiled and had soiled hair.
“]The baby told me ] that when he got lost, he could not find his way home. And the more he walked, the more he could not find a way out”, said Mr Nang, according to local media site Dan Tri.
The authorities said it was a “miracle” that Lam was found dead, adding that he is in robust health. They congratulated you on carefully returning to your home in a Facebook post.
On Taiwanese social media, many people congratulated Lam’s household and thanked the research team for their efforts.
In search of Lam, regional government mobilized more than 150 people, including police officers, soldiers, and regional individuals.
