LAX SAFETY

Due to poor enforcement and weak safety standards, dangerous accidents are popular in China.

Chinese President Xi Jinping at the time demanded lessons to be learned from the tragedy to prevent more calamities.

That same month, a fireplace in a home building killed at least 15 people.

The flames came just days after a late-evening fire at a university in Henan province, in which 13 children were slept in a dorm, was reported.

29 people died in a unique fire in a Beijing hospital next April last year, forcing evasive patients to leap from windows to avoid.
