SINGAPORE: Singapore Post on Thursday ( Jan 2 ) named  , Ms Neo Su Yin as its new group chief operating officer ( COO ).
In the newly created position, successful from Thursday, Ms Neo will handle the agency’s Singapore company system, the international business system and property, the national postal service provider said in a media release on Thursday.
In addition to” transitional management plans,” she will consult with SingPost board chair Simon Israel.
The party COO’s placement is crucial to translating transformation into actionable results, ensuring high excellent execution, and fostering a culture of innovation and constant improvement, according to SingPost. Ms Neo will assist the table in a review of the international business unit.
Before being appointed as Singapore CEO in November 2021, Ms. Neo first joined SingPost in April 2019 as the vice chairman of user experience.
She held the position until May 2024 before joining , heat and travel , service provider , dnata as managing director for Singapore, where she was concerned for ground handling and cargo operations at Changi Airport.  ,
” During her previous tenure at SingPost, Su Yin played a key role in a period of significant change for the Singapore postal system, contributing to modifications across key operational regions, including last-mile supply, digital transformation and postal businesses optimisation”, said SingPost.
