Singer’s van killed and injured siblings on parked motorcycle

Singer and songwriter  Manatsawin “Tik  Shiro” Nanthasen’s de apparently hit a scooter of three siblings, killed one and critically wounded another who fell off a gate in Bangkok’s Sai Mai area early Thursday morning.

Officers were informed of the incident on a gate on Sukhaphiban 5 Road above Thepharak Road at about 4am on Thursday. At the field there was the figure of Thianporn Siwapornpitak, 28.

On the ground about 10 feet under the bridge, authorities found critically injured Chakkapak Siwapornpitak, 21, who is the dead’s nephew. He was rushed to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital.

Their girl Jinnipa Siwapornpitak, 24, remained unhurt at the field. She said that they were traveling on a bike and just before the collapse, she dropped her water jug.

As she had her nephew stopped the bike and got off to pick up the container, a truck hit her sister and brother who were on the bike. The effects threw the nephew off the bridge to the ground.

The dark Hyundai van was driven by Tik Shiro, 63, who really apologised to the home of the subjects and waited to retreat to authorities.

Authorities brought Tik Shiro to the Khannayao place for investigation and a body alcohol test.
