Singapore’s Max Maeder back in action after Olympics, wins Austrian leg of KiteFoil World Series

SINGAPORE: &nbsp, Olympic medallist&nbsp, Max Maeder has wasted no time getting up to winning ways, clinching triumph in his first opposition since the Paris Games.

The 17-year-old won 11 of 12 races at Lake Traunsee in the Austrian leg of the IKA KiteFoil World Series on Sunday ( Sep 8 ) and won the Austrian leg of the competition. In consequence, Maeder only needed one prize set win, and he did that at the very beginning.

Valentin Bontus, an Olympic gold medalist, even participated but did not make the final.
