Singaporeans among those killed, injured in Sabah crash

A Singaporean man was killed in a collision between a tour van and a lorry in Malaysia on Monday afternoon ( Mar 11 ).

In the incident in Semporna, in the state of Sabah in Malaysia, a 60-year-old gentleman and a 40-year-old Vietnamese regional were killed.

A health official from the Ministry of Health confirmed the deaths of the tourists at the image, according to Mazlan Sarman, the station’s head Sabah.

The 42-year-old Malay visit van driver and two Singaporeans, ages 67 and 71, were the only two people who suffered serious injuries.

A 58-year-old man and a 11-year-old woman both suffered minor injuries, according to the other two Singapore. All sufferers of injuries were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to Mazlan in a statement released on Monday.

He added that the trip vehicle collided with a lorry before skidding and colliding with the roadside before colliding with the lorry.

The 25-year-old wagon vehicle escaped unharmed.
