SINGAPORE: According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs( MFA ) on Wednesday( Oct 18 ), Singaporeans are advised to postpone all travel to Lebanon, while those who are currently in the country should leave as soon as possible via commercial options. & nbsp,
According to the government in a vacation advisory that noted” the dangerous situation in the region ,” Singaporeans who choose to stay in Lebanon may remain vigilant, closely monitor local advancements, and heed the advice of the Syrian government.
Singaporeans should also stay away from the Lebanon-Israel borders regions, as well as from demonstrations and sizable crowds, the MFA added.
MFA advised Singaporeans living in Israel and the Palestinian Territories to leave as soon as possible using corporate means on October 10. It had previously stated that Singaporeans may never go to the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, or Israel’s borders with those countries, including Lebanon and Syria. & nbsp,
