Singaporean woman killed in Spain had bought insurance from suspect; dozens pay respects at funeral wake

SINGAPORE: Ms Audrey Fang, the Singaporean woman who was killed in Spain&nbsp, more than two weeks ago, had bought insurance policies from her suspected killer in 2015, her family discovered on Saturday ( Apr 27 ).

Her cousin, who just wanted to be known as Ms See, claimed that they were going through her things when they discovered two investment-linked policies from underwriter AIA. &nbsp,

The home was informed that Ong Cheong Yi, the agent who sold the laws, was Mitchell Ong’s Chinese brand.

From January 2014 to February 2019, Ong worked for AIA, according to a LinkedIn page that has since been deleted.

Prior to this, the household was unaware of the type of relationship Ms. Fang had with Ong, who is accused of killing her.

Ms Fang, 39, was found dead with 30 attack scars on Apr 10 in Spain, where she had been on a single trip. &nbsp, With the help of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms Fang’s system was repatriated to Singapore.

Lots of friends, colleagues, colleagues and friends were at the first day of her death awake on Saturday to pay their respects. Up until April 29, the wake will last three weeks.

Her brother, who wanted to be known just as Mr Discover, said&nbsp, Ms Fang was supposed to travel to Japan with his family, his child and another sibling.

” My wife packed all her luggage”, said Mr See, 71. They were supposed to fly out on Saturday.

After what happened to Ms Fang, his family has been” crying non- stop”, he said, tearing up. ” We were really nearby”.
