The story can soon be heard in the music form for viewers of Crazy Rich Asians. A stage adaptation of the Crazy Rich Asians franchise was made known on Wednesday ( Apr 17 ).
The music, which aims to start on Broadway, may become directed by Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh were the previous stars in the 2018 film, helmed by Jon M. Chu.
And, just as we’ve seen in the classic book and movie, you can expect Singapore-born skill to get involved with this music. Local songwriter-producer Tat Tong, who is based in Los Angeles, may be writing the lyrics for the Crazy Rich Asians music, alongside Tony-nominated artiste Amanda Green.
Tong’s earlier functions include Shinee’s Show Me Your Brand , Wang Leehom’s World Without Tears and JJ Lin’s Rise and Sanctuary.
In an Instagram post announcing his involvement in the music, Tong thanked Thank you to Warner Brothers Theater Ventures and its managing director, Mark Kaufman, who described it as “one of those pinch-me moments that a much younger ( him ) could n’t have dreamed of.”
No date has been set for the Crazy Rich Asians artistic.
