Singaporean man suspected of killing woman in Spain appears in court: Reports

Three days after being detained in connection with the death of a Singaporean woman, a Singaporean man showed up in court on Friday ( April 19 ) in a Spanish court.

Mr Audrey Fang, 39, was found dead with 30 attack sores near a parking place for vehicles in the town  of Abanilla on April 10, according to Hispanic media reports.

The 43-year-old believe, who was not named ,  arrived at a jury in Cieza, in the southeast of the city, at around 9 o’clock. 20am native occasion, according to  La Verdad de Murcia, a Spanish media store.

Apparently, Ms. Fang’s family and their attorney are in Cieza and had found her body. The accused should be remanded in prison, according to their attorney.

Ms. Fang arrived in Spain on April 4 for a single trip, and she was scheduled to make her way back to Singapore on April 12.

She allegedly vanished after leaving her lodge place on April 9 at around 8: 45pm. Her things were left in the luxury resort in Javea, a village on Spain’s northeast coast.

Her body was discovered the following morning, 150 kilometers away, but it was only discovered on April 17 and not yet known.

The chief investigator of the local police department was on his manner to breakfast when Ms. Fang’s body was discovered, according to information store El Espanol.

According to Spanish media outlet La Opinion de Murcia, camera footage shows Mr Fang being picked up from her lodge in a vehicle driven by the accused.

The Civic Guard, a national police force in Spain, apparently determined the vehicle’s design after looking into reports that it had been seen in Alicante, Javea, and Abanilla.

The suspect was arrested in Alicante. Ms Fang’s lodge was in Javea and her body was found in  Salado Alto, which is near Abanilla.
