Singaporean director Chiang Wei Liang wins best new director at Golden Horse Awards 2024

In the Taiwan mountains, a Thai improper employer takes care of a sick old lady and her child.

The movie was nominated for seven honours: Best leading actor, best novel producer, best supporting actor, best supporting actress, best photography, best skill way, and best good results.

In May, Chiang received a Unique Mention Camera d’Or reward at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The award recognizes exceptional-quality movies that, despite not winning the main prize, merit praise for their excellent merit as second feature movies.
