Singapore wants longer trainee visas

The Taiwanese government has urged the Labour Ministry to support specialized trainees from the nation who study in Thailand by allowing them to expand their card from the current three to six months without having to travel house in the interim.

Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the caregiver minister, on Wednesday welcomed Catherine Wong Siow Ping, Singapore’s Ambassador to Thailand, and her group. They discussed visa requirements for professional recruits from the area state to work in Thailand and acquire skills to help the upcoming labor market.

The government does assist, according to Mr. Phiphat. He instructed the Ministry of Interior’s Immigration Bureau to speak with the Department of Employment about the issue.

Both parties will gain from the work, he said, by reducing the labor shortage issue in numerous Thai sectors.
