Singapore sends condolences to US over Washington air crash

Singapore expressed its condolences to the United States on Friday ( Jan 31 ) following the fatal collision between a military helicopter and a passenger plane in Washington.

There haven’t been any reports of Singaporeans being impacted by the event, according to the MFA’s ministry of foreign affairs in Singapore on Friday.

A speech from an MFA representative expresses the Singapore government’s deepest condolences to the US authorities and the families and loved ones of the victims of the horrible weather accident that occurred on January 29, 2025, close to Reagan National Airport.

” The Singapore embassy in Washington, DC, is in contact with US regulators. So far, there are no reports of Singaporeans affected in this crash”.
