Singapore, Saudi Arabia strengthen bilateral relations, elevate ties to ‘strategic partnership’

SINGAPORE: In an effort to improve bilateral relations and cooperation, Singapore and Saudi Arabia have strengthened ties to a” strategic partnership ,” according to the foreign affairs ministries of both nations, which were released on Saturday( Oct 21 ). & nbsp,

Following their appointment on Wednesday in Riyadh, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman” reviewed the traditional ties” between the two nations and” the methods to enhance them in all areas.” & nbsp,

Mr. Lee visited Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on business, and on Friday while in Riyadh, he also went to the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council ( GCC ) Summit. & nbsp,

According to the two ministries, the strengthening of ties to strategic partnership will enable the & nbsp, deepening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across all fields. & nbsp,

The Saudi-Singapore Joint Committee( SSJC ), which held its third session on October 17, received positive feedback from both sides.
