Singapore Muslims to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa on Apr 10: Mufti

The Mufti of Singapore announced on Tuesday that Muslims in Singapore will celebrate Hari Raya Puasa on Wednesday ( Apr 10 ).

The cross moon for the Muslim month of Syawal appeared during dusk on Tuesday according to estimates, signifying that Hari Raya Puasa&nbsp, – also known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri –&nbsp, may fall on Wednesday, Dr Nazirudin Mohd Nasir said in a speech.

” According to celestial calculations, the cross for the month of Syawal did appear during dusk now for 32 days”, he said.

” As for, I am pleased to announce that the first day of Syawal or Hari Raya Aidilfitri for the year 1445 Hijrah falls on Wednesday, Apr 10, 2024″.

This time, &nbsp, the holy month of Ramadan started on Mar 12 and lasted 29 time.

” I would like to take this opportunity to desire all Muslims in Singapore: ‘ Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri,'” Dr Nazirudin added.

” May God grant us riches and achievements as we honor Hari Raya as we perform our worship during the month of Ramadan.”
