Singapore leaders congratulate India counterparts on its 76th Republic Day

In his letter to Mr Modi, Mr Wong said Singapore and India reveal a nearby connection.

” I am happy to note that our relationships have grown drastically, underpinned by wide-ranging participation in trade, banking, education, and military amongst others. Through the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable, we are exploring cooperation in new columns like conservation, modernization, superior production, and connectivity”, he added.

Mr. Wong claimed that Mr. Modi and he were delighted to meet him during his formal visit to Singapore in September, and that both nations are progressing well in putting into practice the plans discussed.

” I am&nbsp, convinced that our relationship may continue to grow from strength to strength”, said Singapore’s prime minister.

He noted that India is currently the fifth-largest economy in the world and is projected to grow to the third-largest in the coming decades.

The nation has made “extraordinary efforts” to enhance the lives of its citizens, starting with the construction of millions of toilets in homes and establishing primary care and remote care facilities.

Given the crucial role India plays in the region’s peace, prosperity, and stability, Mr. Wong applauded India’s continued partnership with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN ).

” Over the years, we have made good progress in ASEAN-India relationships, including the establishment of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2022, when Singapore served as India’s state coordinator,” said Mr. Wong. &nbsp,

” We can continue to develop on this relationship, especially in emerging places like the modern and efficient markets”.

The perfect minister stated that he was looking forward to their talk about how to improve relationships between India and the United States.

He wished Mr. Modi and the Indian citizens a joyous moment full of festivities and many more prosperous years.
