Singapore Army, Navy conclude military drills in Indonesia involving 13 countries, including US

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) provides completed a multilateral military exercise, teaching alongside troops through Australia, Indonesia and the United States, said the particular Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) on Mon (Aug 15).  

Physical exercise Super Garuda Protect 2022 was held within Indonesia from August 1 to Aug 14 and involved assets and workers from 13 countries.

Until this year, only the Indonesian Defence Forces (TNI) as well as the United States Indo-Pacific Control (INDOPACOM) participated within the annual drills.  

The “expanded scope” of the physical exercise saw many nations, including Singapore, taking part or observing initially, said MINDEF.
