She's not my wife, says minister Abdul Latiff on Rafizi's claims in LCS scandal

PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Section (Special Functions) Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad (pic) refuses that he is wedded to the woman called by Rafizi Ramli as being involved in the LCS scandal.

Inside a statement Monday (Aug 21), Abdul Latiff denied that Zainab Mohd Salleh has been his wife.

“As a Cabinet ressortchef (umgangssprachlich), I am ready to give my full cooperation with the authorities in a further investigation, ” he said in his statement.

Abdul Latiff, who is the particular Mersing MP, offered as deputy defence minister from 2008 to 2013 below Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who had been the then defense minister. Abdul Latiff had defected from Umno to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) after the 14th General Election.
