Shanghai: Three dead and 15 injured supermarket stabbing

After a person went on a stabbing spree inside a mall in Shanghai on Monday night, he left three people dead and 15 people injured.

A 37-year-old person named Lin was detained by Chinese police at the scene, according to the report, adding that he had arrived in Shanghai to “vent his anger due to a personal financial dispute.” More studies are continuing.

The incident took place in Songjiang, a densely populated city in the state’s south-west, which is also house to some universities.

According to authorities, the three dead people died from their wounds in a hospital. The people “did not survive lethal scars” and are not believed to be in danger.

On Chinese social media, debate about the event now appear to have been censored.

China has banned weapon, but there have been numerous knife-related problems in recent months.

A 10-year-old Asian pupil was fatally stabbed close to his class in southern China last month.

In June this year, four US college instructors were stabbed in a public park in the northeast city of Jilin. In May, a man stabbed dead two people and wounded 21 others at a hospital in the southern province of Yunnan.
