Several ASEAN air force chiefs skip Myanmar meeting

The regime’s data group claims that the air pressure rulers of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore did not travel to the meeting.

The regime’s data team reported late on Wednesday that air pressure leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam arrived in Naypyidaw, the military-built cash, on Tuesday.

Htun Aung, the commander of the Myanmar Air Force and sanctioned by the US and the UK, met with each visiting official separately and talked about” issues of cooperation between the ASEAN air forces ,” according to the report.

Instead, it stated that the commanders of the Philippine and Singaporean air forces had sent video emails for debate on” Co-operation for a Sustainable Environment.”

According to the UN, ASEAN has spearheaded political initiatives to diffuse Myanmar’s terrible crisis, which has resulted in the displacement of more than 1.5 million people.

In recent months, neighboring Thailand has held its own bilateral deals with the coup, more dividing the union.

Then-foreign secretary of Thailand claimed that in July, he met with Aung San Suu Kyi, the ousted president of Myanmar’s democracy, in her first-known encounter with a foreign minister since she was imprisoned following the 2021 coup.
