Before being released on parole, Thaksin spent six months in the Police General Hospital’s advanced clinic in lieu of prison confinement.
The 75-year-old tycoon paid all the expenses for his six-month remain, including a VIP chamber that price 8, 500 ringgit a day.
Sen. Angkhana informed other senators that she had made the decision to remove the movement because the information she had at the time was insufficient.

She was referring to Netiporn” Boong” Saneysangkhom, a crucial head of the youth-led Thalu Wang opposition party. She passed away on May 14 of last year as a result of a lengthy hunger strike while being held.
” Running to question this subject without having enough knowledge could lead to error,” Sen Angkhana said.
Sen Thanakon Thawonchinchot, however, said he and two additional lawmakers who formerly supported the movement even wanted to remove their assistance.
The Senate after voted 138 to 7 to review the removal of the movement, with seven vetoes.
Sen Angkhana later told reporters that she had no choice but to withdraw the movement because more details needed to be gathered regarding the advocate’s health care.
She stated that she wanted to address the dual requirements that Thaksin’s hospitalization exposed.
