The Constitutional Court unanimously decided on Tuesday that the Senate vote did not violate the charter, allowing the ballot to move to its last stage the following year.

All nine courts on the board agreed that four parts of the natural laws governing the structure of the Senate vote did not infringe on the law, as claimed by six petition, five of whom are Senate candidates.

Following the judge’s ruling, the Election Commission (EC ) confirmed that the national- level Senate election will take place on June 26, as originally scheduled.

The convention center in the Nonthaburi Pak Kret area will host the election’s last phase, which will take place at IMPACT Forum.

Winners at the city and provincial levels must first choose candidates for their own organizations and then cross-select those who are not in their own.

In the last step, 3, 000 finalists representing 20 teams from the previous sessions will fight for 200 seats in the Upper House.

After some individuals received an unusually high number of votes from their peers in Buri Ram, caregiver lawmaker Somchai Swangkarn urged the EC to launch an investigation into alleged abnormalities in the weekend provincial-level Senate election on Monday.
