The Senate’s integrity panel will summon Senator Thani Onlahiad for questioning if he is complicit within an abuse of energy case involving the police corporal falsely accused of abusing the girl maid after looking at all the papers plus evidence, a speaker of the committee mentioned yesterday.
The spokesman, Senator Somchai Sawangkarn, had been commenting after the panel met to consider a petition filed simply by former Democrat MEGA-PIXEL Watchara Phetthong to find out whether Sen Thani is in breach associated with regulations by assisting Pol Cpl Kornsasi Buayaem and the girl maid get state positions.
Sen Somchai said there are still more details to look into but he said several meetings will be held on Sept 5, 7 and 12 respectively. He will also ask for all relevant proof and documents and can call Mr Watchara to give more information.

He also said if the panel decides that the offence is severe, the case will be forwarded to the National Anti-Corruption Commission. Whether it’s not, the matter will be sent to an United states senate meeting instead.
